Product Details
430 stainless steel coil is also known as 430 stainless steel strip or 430 stainless iron strip. It is a ferritic type stainless steel strip material with a width not exceeding 600mm. It is mainly produced by enterprises such as Zhejiang Yongjin Stainless Steel Group. According to the rolling process, it is divided into two types: cold rolled (thickness 0.038 - 3.0mm) and hot rolled (thickness 3.0 - 6.0mm). The earlier definition was within a width of 300mm or less, and later it was adjusted to within 600mm due to equipment upgrades.
This material has a chemical composition of carbon ≤ 0.12%, chromium 16 - 18%, density 7.75g/cm³, melting point 1427℃, and possesses anti-nitric acid corrosion properties. Mechanical properties are divided into soft state (HV ≤ 200) and hard state (200 - 300HV). Surface processing includes 8 types such as BA mirror finish, 2B silver-white luster, and HL hairline texture. It is mainly used in electronic products, architectural decoration, nitric acid equipment, and food industries. Specific applications cover burners, advertising signs, acid tanks, tableware, etc., especially suitable for scenarios requiring stress corrosion resistance.
430 stainless steel strip can be classified into hot rolled steel strip and cold rolled steel strip according to processing methods. According to thickness, it can be divided into thin steel strip and thick steel strip, where the thickness not exceeding 4mm is thin steel strip, and the thickness greater than 4mm is thick steel strip.
According to width, it can be divided into wide steel strip and narrow steel strip, where the width greater than 600mm is wide steel strip, and the width not greater than 600mm is narrow steel strip. This term "430 stainless steel strip" specifically refers to narrow steel strips with a width of 600mm or less. Narrow steel strips can be further classified as directly rolled narrow steel strips and narrow steel strips produced by longitudinal shearing of wide steel strips. According to surface condition, it can be divided into original rolled surface steel strip and plated (coated) surface steel strip.
